Holy Cross is now supporting a nursery school in Uganda; this school is totally supported as a mission effort of our church.

The bishop has recently forwarded pictures of the children who benefit from our giving.

Letter from Jackson Nzerebende, Executive Director FIPHAI-Uganda

Hello Fr. David Mathus,

I am writing this message to update you on the progress of constructing a Primary school for FIPHAI-Uganda.

Pro-Life Nursery and Primary School is located in Kikonzo zone on the Southern outskirts of Kasese town. We thank you for the support because the finances we use are part of the assistance you have been sending to FIPHAI. The purpose of constructing this school is to bring together all children registered with us who have been scattered in different schools so that we can have control over their academic standard, hygiene, nutrition and promote good parenting among their caregivers.

The school is located in a settlement dominated by displaced persons with about 3000 families. We therefore expect a very good turn up of pupils at the initial opening. This year (2010) will be for construction and procurement of necessary school facilities; the school will officially open in February 2011 to conduct classes.

We request for your continued support towards this costly project. God bless you.

Faithfully yours,

Jackson Nzerebende
Executive Director FIPHAI-Uganda.
